Housekeeping note: A change, not for the better

The powers that be at the Crossway ESV Online Bible have radically altered the format of their site, forcing me to make a change I would rather not make with the daily devotional readings. Under the old format, I could link each Psalter reading and each lesson individually. Under the new format, I am unable to do so. Hence, I have had to replace the individual links with one all-inclusive link to Psalter and Lessons.

I am not happy with having to make this change and have made my feelings known to the folks at Crossway. I would encourage you to do the same, using their Feedback portal.

UPDATE: I have been assured by Crossway that they are addressing the issues I have raised with regard to individual links. I still wish they would just restore the old format, though.

First Things blog roll back up

It is now safe to navigate over to First Things. Apparently, the malware alert was a false alarm. In any event, the blog roll is back up on the sidebar.

First Things blog roll temporarily removed

Apparently, the First Things website has been invaded by some nasty malware, thus making it necessary, for the time being, to remove the blogs hosted there from the sidebar here. Hopefully, the problem will be resolved soon.

Changes

You will note some changes in the design of this site. Change is also in the air as I consider several new ministry opportunities which have come my way of late. That's why I haven't posted much here over the last week or so. The hiatus is indefinite, but hopefully brief.

Ahead of Schedule

I'm back, two weeks ahead of schedule. I thought a few weeks off would be therapeutic, and it was. But I had alotted way too much time for such therapy. We'll be cranking back up here later today. I'm also merging The Prodigal Pilgrim with this blog and will be moving all my previous posts from there to here. Daily meditations at This Day in the Word have already resumed, as of this morning.
