"The vocation of the Church is to be a community where as far as possible disagreement does not exist because truth is known, accepted and celebrated." (Martin Davie)

New ministry, new blog
Several months ago, I got the bright idea to merge three disparate blogs--Sanctus, Global Anglican Web Tour, and Anglican Daily Prayer--into this one comprehensive blog which, in a nod to John the Baptist, I titled Locusts and Wild Honey. Since that time, I have posted both devotional and editorial material here. However, as I have recently been called to be the new vicar at Church of the Holy Trinity in Grahamville, South Carolina, it is once again necessary to separate such material onto two distinctive blogs.
Editorial and (for want of a better term) controversial material will continue to be posted here, while prayers and devotionals based on the Daily Office will be moving to my new parish-related blog, Vicar's Versicles. Please note the change on your respective blog rolls, etc.

GAFCON videos from Vimeo and Anglican TV
An official highlight video from each day of the GAFCON gathering is posted at Vimeo and will also be posted here as it becomes available. In addition, videos of the major addresses and other events are being posted at Anglican TV. For your convenience, I have added a "GAFCON Videos from Anglican TV" icon on the right sidebar to provide convenient access to all of these videos as they are online.
Thanks, as always, to Kevin Kallsen and George Conger for their tireless work in making these materials available.

Computer crash!
It appears my computer hard drive had died and, considering the fact that much of the state of South Carolina is blanketed with snow, it may be a few days before I'm back online. Please pardon the interruption.

I hadn't planned to start off the new year in the sick bed, but that's where I've been the last few days. I'll be back on Monday.
