Jimmy Carter conceded the 1980 election before the polls closed in some western states. Even Ronald Reagan was surprised to get the phone call so early in the evening. There have been a number of unflattering comparisons made between Carter and Barack Obama. But in choosing Joe Biden as his running mate, the faux messiah may have just broken Carter's most dubious record. Obama has, for all intents and purposes, conceded the election before a single vote has been cast.

ReplyDeleteThe McCain campaign has an ad out now where Biden is saying Obama is not ready to be president followed by Biden saying McCain would be good for the country.
BTW, I love the "faux messiah" name.
