Bingo, R.I.P.

Isn't it strange that Princes and Kings
And clowns that caper in sawdust rings
And common people like you and me
Are builders of eternity
To each is given a book of rules
A shapeless mass and a bag of tools
And each must make e'er life has flown
A stumbling block or a stepping stone!

Constance Pearson Dover, "Bingo" (Grandma)

Give rest, O Christ, to thy servant with thy saints, where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.
